any info on this bottle? Free blown, no seams. Applied lip and rough pontil. Age and value?

    I believe your bottle is large enough to be called a demijohn. What's the height? This is a great example. I would like to think it is American but possibly it is English or European.

    Late 18th or early 19th century age-wise.

    Assuming that there is no damage, a few hundred in value.

    Not a demijohn, just your basic squat cylinder wine bottle from about 1790-1810. Unknown origin, but most of these are European.
