Looking for information on glass animal "nip" bottles

I'm trying to find more information on some small glass animal liqueur bottles that my grandfather collected. They are referred to as "nips" in the family, but googling hasn't led me to anything similar to these. Here's a sample of one that looks like some kind of tropical fish. The label says: Cherry Liqueur, P. Garnier, Enghien France. The smaller label says Julius Wile, 1877. Any pointers or information appreciated.
