I found this bottle piece washed up on the beach near Mt Pleasant, SC last weekend. I believe it's from an antique rum bottle. Any idea what type or how old it may be? Thanks!
You have the neck of a "black glass" (dark olive green) ale or spirits bottle. The short neck suggests possibly late 18th century but more likely earlier 19th century.
