Rod blown pontil lots of bubbles and some impurities in glass has handle is kinda a little lob sided the seal looks like cat top left corner of shield a x in a square 71/2 in tall 51/4 in wide

I am not sure there is a direct answer to your question regarding the seal but I can say that this is a modern bottle, quite possibly blown at Jamestown Glasshouse

This was found at a building site York pa when found covered with a calcium like substance soaked in vinigar for about 5 weeks it came off I should have told this with first post sorry there is some old Scottish bottles with three of these cats in seal they found four whole bottles and a lot of broken glass and pottery
