clear one gallon glass jug(metal lid)

was trying to figure out an age on this was found by me and me dad on a dirt road in michigan on the side of the road visable things are the "one gallon" im guessing the mold number {2) and a circle with i think a 3 and another number cant really read the other number

    I associate the stippled or bumpy glass surface on the base of the bottle to pieces made after about 1960 or so, but this could be even newer.

    It is a generic bottle for liquids - cider, apple juice, vinegar would be likely uses.
