Green square bottle found on the beach

I'm trying to get info on this bottle. I found it on a sandbar near St Augustine Beach, FL after some rough weather. It's 9.6 inches tall and molded, but the mold line ends before the lip. There are faint marks on the bottom, but they have been scoured by the sand. I can see "_ & _" on the bottom, and feel raised places where more letters are nearly worn smooth. The cork is still there, but it's covered in concretions, and the contents are there too. There are several air bubbles in the glass. I'm wondering what the age might be? It's been in the water quite a long time, based on the weathering.

  • Amazing that the cork, and presumably the contents, are intact.

This is a later 19th century bottle of British origin. Might be gin or other spirits...
