need age of beer bottle found at shipwreck site

Donor claims this is from 1937 shipwreck -I feel it is much more recent???

    If I am reading BOTTLE MAKERS AND THEIR MARKS by Julian Toulouse correctly, Owens Illinois Glass Co. was founded in 1929 and this bottle was made in year 7 - thus 1936. Of course, the company could have formed late in 1929, making 1930 the first year so the date would add up exactly.
