Is this scroll flask from Virginia an original or a reproduction?

I believe my grandmother (born in Virginia 1925) brought this scroll flask with her from Virginia in her move to California c1963.

It measures 4.5" at its widest and is 7"tall. It holds about 400ml. There are a couple bubbles (one of which has been chipped into from the surface.

If you help me determining a value I would appreciate that as well.

Thank you for your time.

  • It's a modern piece and could very well date to the 1950s or 60s, possibly even a bit later. It might be a Clevenger piece but could have been made elsewhere

Typical repro scroll flasks do not bring much but collectors do seem to be particularly fond of the deep amethyst examples. I would value yours in the $20-30 range.
